COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) Update
To Our Valued Patients:
Our core mission as a company and as a medical professional is to Make People Feel and Look Good while Staying Safe and Healthy. The safety and well-being of our patients and our employees is our primary concern given the recent outbreak of COVID-19.
We are now following the mandate by Governor Hogan to only offer essential services for our patients. We are classifying the following procedures as essential:
– Follow-Up appointments from Surgery
– Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy (Pellet Insertions)
– Sculptra Treatment that has been started and requires follow-up injections
– Any Urgent Medical Issues that need to be addressed by our office.
Here’s what we are doing to ensure the safety of our employees and patients:
We are following the directive from the State of Maryland Department of Health and not scheduling any surgery until the Suburban Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center Reopens.
Our meticulous cleaning and sanitizing protocols are firmly in place to keep our team as well as our patients safe – with additional cleaning and sanitizing scheduled after every patient and throughout the day.
We have reviewed and continue to emphasize the necessity of regular and proper hand washing with soap and medical hand sanitizer. We are requiring employee hand cleaning at a minimum of every hour, regardless of task.
We are offering hand sanitizer at the reception area and throughout the office.
We are minimizing physical contact such as handshakes or other interactions among staff and with patients as well as reminding our staff to practice safe distancing.
We are limiting in-office appointments to ensure that we have no more than 3 people in the waiting room at one time.
We are reducing our office hours to 10–2 Monday-Thursday and 9-12 Fridays.
Laura and I will be checking emails remotely on the hours the office is closed so we are always available for your questions. [email protected] or [email protected].
Above all, remember that as always, we are here for you – and we are committed to providing you the best possible treatments. We will remain open on this limited schedule until the situation gets better. In the meantime, we wish you good health and calmness during this difficult time.
